PURPOSE:To enable even such user who lacks in the sufficient knowledge and experience to effectively evaluate the performance of a computer system by using an external memory means which stores both experiential and declaratory rule groups necessary for solution of performance troubles of the computer system. CONSTITUTION:An exclusive memory 5 stores previously both experiential and declaratory rule groups of knowledges, knowhows, etc., which are held and used by specialists for evaluation of performance of a computer system. When a user of the computer system starts an interactive process through an input/output device 2 to solve the performance problems of the computer system, both the experiential and declaratory rule groups stored in the memory 5 are evolved into the work areas by a performance analysis/diagnosis information output means 10. Then the linkage of decision, the reference and the replacement are repeated within the groups set on the work areas and the solving ways of problems are obtained. |
