PURPOSE:To minimize the loss of printing data at the time of the generation of trouble and to perform certain printing work, by judging the coincidence of one or more preset data with printing data by a coincidence judge part and making it possible to temporarily stop printing operation on the basis of the judge result without exerting effect on the receiving operation of the printing data. CONSTITUTION:A coincidence judge part 4 compares one or more set data set to a setting device 5 by a setting switch 6 with the printing data processed by a control part 1 to perform the judgement of coincidence. When coincidence is detected, the control part 1 gives instructions for temporarily stopping printing operation to a printing part 2. Whether or not the judgment of coincidence and temporary stoppage are executed can be easily set by a switch or the like. Therefore, when an operator discovers the shift of a printing position or the jamming of paper during printing work, a mode for performing the judgement of coincidence and temporary stop operation is taken by the switch or the like and, if a page feed code is set, printing operation is temporarily stopped at the point of time of the first page feed operation on and after and, therefore, the operator may perform proper treatment such as the setting and correction of paper to indicate the continuation of printing operation. |
