PURPOSE:To obtain a forming and processing machine for rolled 'SUSHI' (vinegared rice and fish) which is highly convenient, such as small size, readily handleable, sanitary and inexpensive, by constituting the machine so as to always feed a constant amount of cooked rice using a cooked rice weighing feeder and move a forming belt back and forth while rotating the belt. CONSTITUTION:Cooked rice (a) in a hopper 1 is suitably loosened by a weighing feeder 3 and a constant amount thereof is delivered from a delivery port 2 onto a conveying belt 6 while being kneaded. The cooked rice (a) on the belt 6 is then formed to a constant thickness with a roller 7 while being moved, subsequently cut to a suitable length by a cutter 7' and conveyed onto a forming belt 13 on which a laver (c) is previously laid. Various 'SUSHI' ingredients (b) are automatically fed onto the cooked rice (a) in the form of a plate lump placed on the laver (c) by a feeder 15 by temporarily stopping the rotation of the belt 13. When the feeding by the feeder 15 is completed, the belt 13 is further rotated to simultaneously move the upper rotating shaft 9 forward, form and process the cooked rice (a) and ingredients (b) into the aimed rolled 'SUSHI' (e) of a constant shape while rolling the cooked rice (a) and ingredients (b) into the laver (c) by rotation and movement of the above-mentioned belt 13. The obtained rolled 'SUSHI' (e) formed into the constant shape is automatically fed to a containing case 16 by the forming belt 13. |
