PURPOSE:To obtain operational stability and riding comfortableness by controlling a car height at will in accordance with the running condition of the car. CONSTITUTION:As a solenoid valve 38 is closed usually, when a compressor 16 is driven by an output issued from a control unit 9, a raised pressure is added to an air layer 41. This pressure is transmitted to a hydraulic pressure room 33 through an oil room 40, and pushes a piston 30 to make the car height higher. The pushing up power by the hydraulic pressure acts on the spring power of the spring additionally. When it is required to raise the car height rapidly, a piston 30 moves rapidly by opening a solenoid valve 37 for an instant. When the car height gets to the regulated level, an air compressor 16 is stopped. When it is required to lower the car height, the solenoid valve 38 is electrified and air is released through path 43. Moreover, whether the regulated height is attained or not can be judged by an input of a car height sensor 10. |
