PURPOSE:To present a three-dimensional sense while being thin by coating a chenille main body with a transparent member formed as a half-mirror with a metalized film and giving a character or a pattern to one of joint surfaces of the chenille main body and the transparent member. CONSTITUTION:In an ornamental chenille provided on a body side of an automobile, a chenille main body 1 is formed by vinyl chloride, nylon, EVA or a material where foaming material is miced with the above materials. A groove portion 2 is formed in the longitudinal direction at a designated portion of the chenille main body 1, and a character plate 3 made of vinyl chloride or the like is interposed in the bottom wall of the groove portion 2. A sheet-like transparent member 4 is stuck onto the character plate 3 in the groove 2 by adhesives 5 to make the transparent member 4 and the chenille main body substantially in a flush state. The transparent member 4 is made by acryl, urethane, cinyl chloride or the like and formed as a half mirror having a metalized film 6 formed on the back side thereof, that is, a joint surface to the chenille main body. |
