Expansion clamping tool

An expansion clamping tool has at least one expansion clamping wall (34, 44) which, via a hydraulic system, is subjected by hydraulic fluid on one side to pressure which is generated via a pressure-generating device and is distinguished in that at least one expansion clamping wall (34, 44) is constructed as a planar wall. A tool of this type makes it possible to clamp workpieces with planar boundary face and planar edges and to fix the tool itself in a clamping plate. <IMAGE>
