发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF NEGATIVE ELECTRODE FOR NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To produce uniform alloy and reduce the man-hours in production by electrolyzing lithium on an Al base plate by barrel plating method, and by forming lithium-aluminum alloy as material for negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:Al plate is punched off to form a base plate, and a barrel vessel is filled with this punched base plate. Lithium is used as opposite electrode and the punched base plate is electrolyzed to form lithium-aluminum alloy. A coin type battery is fabricated from a negative electrode consisting of lithium-aluminum alloy thus formed, a positive electrode consisting of Li containing MnO2, an electrolytic solution prepared from a mixture solvent of propylene carbonate and dimethoxy ethane in which LiCO3 is contained as electrolyte, and separators made of unwoven cloth of polypropylene. Because a great quantity of Al base plates can be plated at one time, negative electrodes can be mass produced to lead to suppression of the manufacturing costs remarkably.
