PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that a behavior of a vehicle becomes instable when either of left and right rear wheels is failed in steering control due to an abnormality of an electronic control device, in a rear wheel steering control device which independently steers the left and right rear wheels.SOLUTION: A device controls a rear wheel steering device which independently steers left and right rear wheels. The device have a pair of electronic control devices 13L, 13R which control a pair of left and right actuators 14L, 14R of the rear wheel steering device 12, respectively. There is arranged a connection changeover part 31 which switches steering motors 25L, 25R of a pair of the actuators 14L, 14R, rotation angle detectors 26L, 26R, and absolute position detectors 27L, 27R to states that a pair of the electronic control devices 13L, 13R are alternately connected. An abnormality determination part 32 for detecting the occurrence of an abnormality is arranged at either of a pair of the electronic control devices 13L, 13R. There is arranged an abnormality correspondence control part 33 which makes the connection changeover part 31 perform a changeover motion when the occurrence of the abnormality is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
