<p>A fuel injection apparatus in which a closed fuel circuit is pressurized, and the amount of fuel injected is determined by varying the on/off time of injectors. Air intake by the engine is controlled in response to the aspiration conditions of the engine via an air valve (18) responsive to intake and exhaust pressures. The fuel injection apparatus includes a reservoir (19) with a fixed level of fuel, and a low pressure pump (22) which pumps fuel into a circuit containing a pressure relief valve (29) splitting amounts between the reservoir and leaving an amount of fuel approximate to the engine's needs going on to the electronic injectors (14a, 14b, 14c, 14d).</p> |
