PURPOSE:To have AC voltage with low distortion easily at a low cost by envelope detecting the output voltage of a receiving coil, and by obtaining AC output by a cyclo-converter. CONSTITUTION:Conversion into AC is made by an envelope detecting circuit and a cyclo-converter. Envelope detecting circuit 21 is formed from, for ex., a rectifier circuit 19 and a capacitor 20, while cyclo-converter 22 is composed of four switching elements 22a, 22b, 22c, 22d and connected with the output of the envelope detecting circuit 21. Rippled current generated by this circuit 21 is converted into AC. That is, the output from the envelope detecting circuit of adapter is in the waveform obtained by whole wave rectifying the commercial AC with 50 or 60Hz, and a low distortion AC voltage is accomplished by turning this output into alternate voltage by the cyclo-converter. |
