SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL AND PROCESS FOR ITS PREPARATION

A silver halide photographic material and a process for its preparation are disclosed. This material has a silver halide emulsion layer containing photosensitive silver halide grains obtained by adding previously prepared fine silver halide grains to a reaction vessel for formation of grain nuclei and/or growth of crystals to thereby form nuclei and/or allow crystals to grow in said reaction vessel and subjecting to reduction sensitization. It has a high photographic speed, suffers less fogging, and gives good graininess.
