GRAVURE PRINTING PLATE

摘要

PURPOSE:To enable accurate printing to a uniform ink thickness by forming the 4 sides of rhombic ink cells respectively to >=60 deg. angle with a doctor blade and forming the two sides which form a sharp angle to >=30 deg. angle with each other. CONSTITUTION:The ink cells 16 are respectively formed to the rhombic shape on the surface of a cylinder 12 and the 4 sides of the rhombic shape are formed respective to >=60 deg. angle with the doctor blade 34 to be brought into pressurized contact with the cylinder. The two sides which form the sharp angle among the 4 sides of the rhombic shape are set at >=30 deg. angle with each other. Since the patterns consisting of the two straight lines 18, 20 of the gravure printing plate respectively intersect with each other at the angle nearly the right angle to the doctor blade 34, the scraping of the necessary ink in the ink cells 16 at the time of scraping the excess ink with the doctor blade 34 is prevented. The ink film of the printed matter is thereby formed to the exact thickness and the film thickness in solid printing in particular is uniformized.
