PURPOSE:To eliminate stains and to simultaneously decrease the change of photographic characteristics at the time of continuous processing by processing the photographic sensitive material by a color developing agent contg. one kind of the group consisting of specific hydrazines and hydrazides, aminopolycarboxylic acids for masking Ca and Mg and iron masking agent. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide color photographic sensitive material is processed by the color developing agent contg. an arom. primary amine developing agent, at least one kind selected from the group consisting of the hydrazines and hydrazides expressed by the formula I as a preservative, the aminopolycarboxylic acids as the hiding agent for calcium and magnesium and the iron hiding agent. In the formula I, R<1>-R<3> respectively independently denote a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, etc.; R<4> denotes a hydrogen atom, hydroxy group, hydrazino group, etc.; X<1> denotes a bivalent group; n denotes 0 or 1. The stains are thereby eliminated and the change of the photographic characteristics at the time of the continuous processing are extremely decreased. |
