PRODUCTION OF SHAPE-MEMORIZING YARN OF NATURAL FIBER

PURPOSE:To obtain the title yarn having appearance of ordinary yarn, shrinking by immersing in warm water, by coating natural yarn with protein in a heating zone of false twisting and crimp processing process for natural fiber and simultaneously hydrating. CONSTITUTION:In subjecting natural yarn 1 to false twisting and crimp processing process through a heater 5 and a spinner 3, the natural yarn is coated with protein and simultaneously by a hydrating device (a) charged with a protein solution in a hydrating bath 37 equipped with a guide roll 6 at the heating zone side. The protein is penetrated into the core of the yarn and the yarn is hydrated to give excellent shape-memorizing yarn of natural fiber.
