PURPOSE:To enable the freezing ability of an refrigerator to be sufficiently transmitted to its housing container, by inserting obstacles with low thermal conductivity into the gap made by the refrigerator and the housing container. CONSTITUTION:When a refrigerator 10 is operated, the temperatures of the first stage and the second stage become 20K and 80K respectively. So, a gas medium 15 arround a coupling body 23 produces aireddies of big convection in the gap made by the refrigerator housing container 13 and the coupling body 23. Obstacles 22 are inserted into the gap between the refrigerator housing container 13 and the coupling body 23 to prevent the convection of this gas medium 15. Thus, the gas medium in the gap between the refrigerator 10 and the housing container 13 is brought into a state that the occurrence of the convection is difficult, because the gap has become narrower owing to the obstacles 22. This enables transmitting the cooling ability of the refrigerator 10 to object to be cooled, just like when the refrigerator 10 is used in the vertical state. |
