PURPOSE:To prevent the production of dusts by the frictional contact of the neck of a bottle with a cap as well as direct contact of the fingers with the portion thereof brought in contact with chemicals, by dividing a cap into two sections: a rotating portion with a round hole and a fixing portion with a U-shaped groove formed around the periphery thereof. CONSTITUTION:A bottle cap is provided with a fixing portion 4 having a U-shaped groove formed around the periphery thereof and with a rotating portion 5 having a round hole therein. After sealing the bottle neck with the fixing portion 4 while holding it on the bottle neck, the rotating portion 5 is turned with the fixing portion 4 pushed, thereby opening and closing the bottle, i.e., the fixing portion 4 and the rotating portion 5 are so designed as not to turn together, although fastened integrally. For this reason, even if the frictional contact between the rotating portion 5 and the bottle neck produces dusts, there is no concern about the contamination of chemicals taking place, since the bottle neck is kept closed with the fixing portion 4. Also, since the fixing portion 4 serves as the inner lid, there is no need for providing any inner lid separately. Moreover, since this bottle cap has the fixing portion 4 and the rotating portion 5 fastened integrally, the cap can be removed at one time and the contact of the fingers with the region of the fixing portion 4 brought in contact with the chemicals is avoideable. |
