Screwless terminal clamp for wires - with spring arms clamping and contacting baked wire ends

The screwless terminal clamp, for wires, has a U-shaped spring clamping contact (5) whose arms (4) press against the bared ends of the two wires requiring correcting -- i.e. one arm for each wire end. (The wires are inserted into the clamping contact end on). The clamping contact is located inside an insulating housing (3) and has a depression (7) in its bridge piece that engages in a recess (9) in the outer wall of the housing to prevent the clamping contact moving when the wire ends are inserted. Several clamping contacts can be located in the same insulating housing -- where each contact occupies its own channel.
