PURPOSE:To enable automatization of the application of a skin material to a plastic molding material, by providing a supporting frame for supporting said plastic molding material, a mold over which said skin material is stretched and to which said plastic molding material is pressed, and a frame driving means for moving said supporting frame to press said plastic molding material against said skin material. CONSTITUTION:A frame driving means 20 is driven to move a supporting frame 11 successively to the side of a mold 15, and consequently a plastic molding material 12 is pressed against a skin material 16. At this time, since the skin material 16 is positioned between the mold 15 and the plastic molding material 12, it is flexibly deformed along a contour of the plastic molding material 12. Then, the supporting frame 11 is further moved to the side of the mold 15, so that the plastic molding material 12 is pressed into the mold 15 to be tightly adhered with the skin material 16. At this time, the pressing force of the plastic molding material 12 against the skin material 16 is set relatively large within an elastic range of the plastic molding material 12 in consideration of the shape and structure of the material 12. Accordingly, the skin material 16 can be pressed against the plastic molding material 12 sufficiently in the range not breaking the material 12. |
