PURPOSE:To correct an error in radioactive concentration of dust deposited in piping, by a method wherein the radioactive concentration of dust in the air measured from a sampling point through the piping is multiplied by a deposition correction coefficient value determined and set beforehand. CONSTITUTION:A deposition correction coefficient value, which is the ratio m1/m2=1/(1-e<-lambda>L) between a dust radioactive concentration m1 at a sampling point 1 and a dust radioactive concentration m2 measured through a piping 2, is determined beforehand by an experiment and set in a correction coefficient setting unit 6. Then, the radioactive concentration m2 of dust in the air measured by a dust radioactive concentration computing unit 4 on the basis of a dust radiation intensity from a radiation detector 35 and an air flow rate from a flow rate emitter 36 is multiplied by said deposition correction coefficient value, so as to correct an error in the radioactive concentration of the dust deposited in the piping 2.
