The driving unit incorporates an I.C. engine as prime mover, a hydropump and a throttle position formed by a flow control valve in the pump feed conduit. This valve produces a braking torque at times of excess speed. The flow produced during braking is passed into a pressure accumulator divided into several part units. Between pairs of the part units, valves are connected. These valves only open to the successive part accumulator when that preceding has reached its max. permissible nominal pressure. |
