<p>PURPOSE:To specify an optional area in a document and to continuously process only the specified area by providing the title device with a means for inputting an area leading character number and an area final character number. CONSTITUTION:The area leading character number indicating the leading character of an area to be specified in a document is inputted from a keyboard 4 functioning as an area specifying character number input means and set. Similarly, an area final character number indicating the final character of the area to be specified in the document is inputted from the keyboard 4. When the specification of the area for document processing based upon the input from the keyboard 4 is decided by a main CPU 1, the CPU 1 continuously execute document processing in the area specified by the area leading character number and the area final character number. Namely, a translation module 5 translates an inputted source language into a target language by means of dictionaries, grammatical rules, tree structure conversion rules, etc.</p> |
