PURPOSE:To prevent excessive contamination and facilitate the cleaning of the main part of a range hood, by installing a filter receiver to the lower end of a removable panel which is designed to clog the inlet of a hollow section mounted inside the main part, and lifting said filter from the bottom of the main part. CONSTITUTION:A removable panel 9 is installed to the front of a casing 8 which surrounds a fan 3. A suction hole 10 of the fan 3 is bored at a position equivalent to the suction hole of the fan casing 8 so that it may clog an inlet 12 of a hollow section 11 formed between the fan casing 8 and the main part 1 of a range hood. It is contrived that the panel 9 be provided with a filter receiver 13 in its lower part while a panel 7 be installed so that it may be removably lifted from the bottom 14 of the main part 1 of said range hood. The filter 7 is laid out in a ventilation channel which interconnects the suction port 2 of the main part 1 of the range hood with the suction hole 10 of the fan 3. Therefore, this construction makes it possible to discharge oily fumes through an adaptor 4 by way of a duct 6, preventing the penetration of oily fumes into the hollow section 11. |
