The invention relates to a printed-circuit support provided for the soldering of components in a "wave" soldering machine and intended to prevent a shadow effect; the shadow effect is due to the fact that the connections of a component of a printed circuit, which penetrate the solder wave after the body of this component, are masked and can be poorly soldered. The support 1 includes two parts 2, 3 hinged to each other; one 2 of these parts is given a simple translational movement towards the wave V by virtue of the conveyor B of the machine, whereas the other part 3 holds the printed circuit C and is, by virtue of a motor M, given, in addition to the translational movement, a movement of which at least some components are directed perpendicularly to the translational movement and enable the shadow effect to be prevented. <IMAGE>
