摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To promote the improvement of cargo handling efficiency by giving a work instruction to a preferential self-advancing device and to non-preferential self-advancing device after the time for both the self-advancing devices not to interfere, in the case of a cargo handling equipment having two sets of cargo- handling self-advancing devices in the same running path. CONSTITUTION:In case of performing cargo handling work by two stacker cranes W, E self advancing on a single running rail 4, when an objective position of both the cranes W, E interferes, it is determined which of the cranes is preferentially operated in accordance with a predetermined procedure. For instance, in case of preferentially operating the stacker crane W, a work instruction is output to the stacker crane W. And calculating time for the non- preferential stacker crane E not to interfere with the stacker crane W, work instruction is output to the stacker crane E after the calculated time. That is, the stacker crane E is operated with a delay by the time till the stacker crane W returns to a non-interference point W'3 after performing the works in points W1, W2, W3. In this way, the reduction of waiting time and the improvement of efficiency are improved.</p>
