<p>PURPOSE:To classify stacked sheets by arranging a sheet discharge tray for stacking sheets inverted and discharged through a U-turn carry-out path displaceably in perpendicular direction to the sheet advancing direction while incorporating partially in the machine body. CONSTITUTION:A sheet P fixed with an image and discharged from a machine body 1 through a sheet discharge pair roller 32 is inverted through a U-turn carry path and a carrying means 144 arranged between fixed guides 140, 141 then enters into a sheet discharge tray 9 incorporated partially in the machine body 1 at the lower section thereof and movably in lateral direction, thereafter contacts with a stopper 182 at the tip thereof and stacked sequentially in the tray 9. Every time when a predetermined number of sheets are stacked, the sheet discharge tray 9 displaces by a predetermined amount 8 in the direction perpendicular to the advancing direction of the sheet P along a slide rail 210 through a tray moving means and classifies the stacked sheets. By such arrangement, sheets can be stacked orderly while being classified and the installation space can be reduced.</p> |
