PURPOSE:To make an adjustment easier, by performing a gamma correction in the stage of a carrier color signal by a level slice circuit and gain controlling circuit to centralize the adjustment. CONSTITUTION:A carrier color signal outputted from a mixing circuit 8 is controlled its gain by a gain controlling circuit 12. According to the level of a luminance signal, a controlling signal is outputted to the gain controlling from a level slice circuit 13. With respect to a luminance signal level having a level exceeding a fixed level fixed by the level slice circuit, a gamma correction is carried out by controlling a titled device so that the larger the level, smaller the gain of the gain controlling circuit 12. |
