PURPOSE:To mold a lens of a shape with comparatively large difference of wall thickness at high speed and high accuracy by injecting a liquid photo- setting plastic lens material from a bung hole to a cavity, irradiating beams on a central section of the cavity while surplus material is stored in the bung hole, enlarging subsequently the beams into ring beams and irradiating, and irradiating the beams up to the outer periphery. CONSTITUTION:A photo-setting plastic lens material 9 is filled in a cavity 6, and the surplus photo-setting plastic lens material 9 is also stored in a bung hole 7. The beams condensed into a spot shape is irradiated on a central section and beams (shown by the arrow mark) is condensed most in an almost intermediate position also in the height direction and forms a high energy state, where photo-setting reaction is developed actively. When the material near a lens surface 3 is cured, a space delta is formed between a curing section 11 and the lens surface 3 as the shrinking goes on. At that time, as uncured liquid is flowed in quickly by capillarity and cured thereon, distortion is not generated by curing shrinkage to obtain an accurate shape. |
