PURPOSE: To prevent microbes or algae from generating on a building material for a long period by providing a copper flame spray layer on the surface by copper flame spraying. CONSTITUTION: The copper flame spraying work is conducted in a factory, where a panel is manufactured from an arbitrary base material such as concrete, lightweight cellular concrete, wood, ceramic or plastic. The flame spraying method may be conducted by any of electric wire flame spraying, gas wire flame spraying and powder flame spraying, and the thickness of a flame spraying layer is preferably set to about 0.1-100μm, for example. Since the grain size is easily controlled and the flame spraying time is freely set by this flame spraying method, a prescribed quantity of copper is easily stuck to a building material according to a purpose. The bactericidal and alga-proof effects by copper can be surely maintained surely for a long period in a severe operating environment.
