PURPOSE:To form an image which is free from the voids and unequal spots of the transferred dye image in a short period of time by specifying the amt. of the binder to be coated on an image receiving material and the swelling rate of the coated film of the image receiving material. CONSTITUTION:The amt. of the binder to be coated on the image receiving material is preferably <=2 times the amt. of the binder to be coated on a heat developable color photosensitive material and more particularly preferably, the content of the binder in the image receiving material is in the range of 0.1-1.0 times the content of the binder in the photosensitive material. The swelling rate of the image receiving material is so designed as to be 0.2-1.5 times, more preferably 0.3-1.0 times the swelling rate of the coated film over the entire part of the photosensitive material on the photosensitive layer side. The transferred dye image which is free from the voids and unequalness is thereby obtd. in the short processing time. |
