PURPOSE:To make the automatic register in the vertical direction possible, by a method wherein the titled register device is composed of the origin sensor detecting the origin position of each rotary member, a pulse generater, a mark sensor, a count means, and a correction means. CONSTITUTION:The origin sensor 25a detecting the origin position of a rotary angle is provided to each rotary member and the mark sensor 26a detecting the special mark put on a web is provided to the rear of each rotary member. The puls generator 27 generating a pulse by its rotation is connected to a main shaft 16 and generates a pulse corresponding to the rotary amount of each rotary member while each correction device 18 is not operated. The mark put by the marker 28 passes each rotary member and the slippage of its phase is measured as the difference of the counter value of each counter 29a. Then, each rotary member is automatically corrected to be rotated, the phase being adapted and its register in the vertical direction is carried out. Thereby, the register in the vertical direction can be easily and quickly achieved. |
