PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of the title device by providing a developer collecting means for collecting developer dropped on a transfer belt on the transfer belt and reservoiring it. CONSTITUTION:When the toner is going to be collected in order to convey out the toner outside a cleaning device, a toner reservoir 31 is made to be in a released state. Namely, a base plate 29 which forms the toner reservoir 31 is allowed to turn to the position of a virtual line by driving means such as a cam and a solenoid, etc., so that the toner reservoir 31 becomes in a bottomless state and the toner reserved in the toner reservoir 31 is dropped on the transfer belt 54. The dropped toner is conveyed by the transfer belt 54 and finally scraped and collected at a cleaning blade 34, and thereafter, it is reserved in a toner collection container 35. Thus, the constitution for conveying out the toner can be simplified. |
