<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of excellently improving the degree of attention to a game. <P>SOLUTION: In an MPU 92 of a main controller 71, winning/losing drawing is performed on the basis of the entry of a game ball to an upper operation port or a lower operation port provided in a game area, and when a prescribed drawing result is attained in the winning/losing drawing, a game state is shifted to an opening/closing execution mode for making an entry to a variable winning device provided in the game area possible. Further, two or more kinds of forms are set in the opening/closing execution mode, and two or more kinds of shifting forms of the game state after the opening/closing execution mode are set as well.
