<p>PURPOSE:To require no transmission bit for feeding a signal for breaking an input and to simplify a transmitter and receiver circuit by making the output of a transmission side a specific signal when an input video signal is interrupted. CONSTITUTION:The video signal inputted to an A/D converting part 1 is encoded to a parallel digital signal, the output thereof is subjected to a processing such as the compression of a band in an encoding and processing part 2, encoded to a serial signal in a line interface part 4 and transmitted to a transmission path. When the video signal is interrupted, an input interruption detecting part 8 detects it, operates a fixed pattern generator 9 and outputs a fixed pattern signal such as '0' to the converting part 1 from this generator 9. The output thereof is transmitted through the processing part 2, an interface part 3. In the receiver side, the video signal is subjected to the reverse processing to the transmitter side and an analog picture is displayed on a screen. The serial signal of '0' is converted to the analog signal of '0', thereby, noise or the like during the interruption of the signal is eliminated.</p> |
