PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain a deodorizing composition effective for a wide range of a malodor by containing a strong acid salt of a predetermined metal, activated carbon and fly ash. CONSTITUTION:A deodorizing composition is constituted of a powder mixture containing a strong acid salt of a metal excepting an alkali metal and an alkaline earth metal, activated carbon and fly ash. As the strong acid salt of the metal used herein, sulfate, nitrate and chloride of aluminum, zinc, iron, copper, manganese, cobalt and nickel are designated but, concretely, aluminum sulfate, zinc sulfate and ferrous sulfate are pref. As activated carbon, all of zinc chloride activated carbon, steam process activated carbon, granulated carbon and crushed carbon can be used. Fly ash is fine particulate ash collected from the flue gas of a fine coal combustion boiler by a dust collector or the corresponding product thereof. |
