PURPOSE:To output onto a small number of output papers compared with an original while original image information is preserved by deleting a white paper part in picture data. CONSTITUTION:After analog image data read by a CCD sensor part 1 are A/D-converted, they are stored through a line buffer 2 to an image memory 4. A CPU 3 detects the continuous white image data for one line of a main scanning direction and further, counts the number of lines in which the white image data are continuous. An image output device 5 reproduces and outputs the white image data by the number of the lines less than the number of the counted lines. |
