PURPOSE:To obtain the title repairing material having superior dehydratability, adhesive property and mechanical strength and enabling use immediately after repair by adding specified fine magnesia powder as an auxiliary binder to a refractory mixture contg. magnesia clinker having a regulated size as principal aggregate. CONSTITUTION:Magnesia clinker having >=85% MgO content is produced by calcining or electromelting and the size of the clinker is regulated to <=2mm. The clinker is used as principal aggregate and blended with a fibrous material, etc., to obtain a refractory mixture. Fine magnesia powder having >=95% MgO content and <=10mum average particle size as an auxiliary binder is added to the refractory mixture by 1-10wt.% of the amt. of the mixture. |
