Date Jul. 30, 1987.Arrangement for producing a slow rise in pressure in pneumatic or hydraulic systems, particularly compressed-air diaphragm pumps. The arrangement includes a delivery channel having a valve, the spindle of which is connected to a diaphragm. The outlet side communicates with a chamber beneath the diaphragm. The inlet side is connected to a chamber located on the other side of the diaphragm, via a connecting passage which incorporates an adjustable throttle valve. When a load is applied, pressure medium will flow slowly into the chamber, whereas the chamber is brought immediately to the same pressure as the pressure on the outlet. A higher pressure in the chamber throttles the main flow, such that its pressure is only able to increase at the same rate as the pressure in the chamber. The chamber can be rapidly evacuated, by means of a three-way valve and a non-return valve, which closes the valve and therewith the main flow.</p> |
