The invention relates to a device making it possible to improve the cutting accuracy of a pad saw. It consists of a swan-neck-shaped arm 2 which will be fixed onto a base (workbench-table) to which is fixed a blade guiding head. The screws 11 and 12 with nuts 1 and 4 are inserted into the holes 7 and 9 on the blade guiding head 6, 13 or 20 and 3 and 5 on the swan-neck-shaped arm fixing these heads. The saw blade 10 is guided either in the space 8, or fixed by the screws 14 and 16 into the movable cylindrical piece 16 or guided in the slit of the movable cylinder 19 which is centred in the space 22. <IMAGE>
