PURPOSE:To omit a mask area display memory and to realize memory mask control in simple constitution by deciding whether the address of image data is set in a specific area or not to decide a mask area when memory mask processing is carried out. CONSTITUTION:When the image data is written in a memory 1, an address is produced by an address generator 5. This address is sent to a deciding means 3 and compared with an address showing a specific area designated by a mask area designating means 4 for decision whether the image data belongs to the specific area or not. Then the processing contents are decided between the image data on the part belonging to the specific area and that on the part which does not belong to the specific area. Thus it is possible to designate the specific area with a small quantity of data via the means 3 and by using a simple shape like a rectangle, etc., to the specific area. |
