The orifice 4 for grasping cotton buds is produced integrally in the lid of the box and is generally in the shape of an omega constituted by a U-shaped opening 6 and a horizontal slot 5 which is in a direction essentially perpendicular to the axis of the opening, the said slot allowing the lengthwise passage of a cotton bud and the opening allowing the passage of one of the user's fingers for grasping. <IMAGE>
