In the front end of the outer casing (11) is a wedge (17) for retention of a track ring in a tensioned state. The assembly unit is pushed on to the shaft until the track ring (21) is located immediately behind a track for it. - The inner casting (12) is then moved forwards, pressing the track ring out of the outer casing (11). The ring then snaps into the shaft track. The front end of the inner casing (12) has stepped formation suited to the trackring, which enables a position indicator to be used to check that track ring has been correctly fitted. |
