The continuous-flow heater according to the invention, the design features of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawing, has the purpose of heating viscous media, whose viscosity is temperature-dependent, upon withdrawal from containers (tanks and barrels) in a continuous-flow method such that the pumpability is ensured and - in the case of oil- paraffin separation is prevented. This is carried out according to the invention by a tubular, electric continuous-flow heater 2 which is connected to the suction line 3 and is movably arranged in the container. <IMAGE>
