PURPOSE:To reduce remarkably manufacturing costs by coating the inner surface of a skin material made by cylindrical extrusion molding of a thermoplastic resin with a catalyst progressing hardening reaction, and subsequently injecting a reaction-curing resin material to unify and mold in compression. CONSTITUTION:A skin material 1 composed of high density polyethylene is cylindrically extruded and foamed. After being cooled, it is cut by a cutter having a heater and its opening portion is fused to seal. Then, a hole 2 is made in the sealed part, a catalyst is injected thereinto to coat all over the inner surface 1a of the skin material 1. Thereafter, a first stock solution composed mainly of polyol and a second stock solution, a hard polyurethane resin material composed mainly of isocyanate, are injected from the hole 2 to foam and harden. Because the skin material 1 is softened with the heat release of the resin material adjacent to the skin material 1 due to the catalyst and its formability is improved, so that a required molding 6 can be made by compression molding using a pressure mold 4.
|
