PURPOSE:To enable cleaning of a recording surface of a recording medium by a simple construction, by providing a cleaning member for the recording surface in a feeding passage for the recording medium, and composing the cleaning member of a tacky rubber material. CONSTITUTION:Tacky rollers 3, 3 as cleaning members for removing refuse such as paper dust and fuzz of paper fibers from a printing surface of a recording medium S are pressed against a roller 2. The tacky rollers 3, 3 are formed of a tacky rubber material such as a butyl rubber and a urethane rubber. A strongly tacky roller 12 tackier than the rollers 3, 3 is pressed against the rollers 3, 3, for removing the refuse adhered to the surfaces of the rollers 3, 3 from the surfaces. With the cleaning members formed of the tacky rubber material, the structure can be simplified. |
