PURPOSE:To improve the recording and reproducing efficiency by laminating a magneto-anisotropic magnetic film on a lower magnetic core so that the axis of difficult magnetization of the magnetic film is perpendicular to the front of a substrate and laminating an isotropic magnetic film on a first core formed in this manner to form a second core and forming an upper magnetic core by lamination of first and second cores. CONSTITUTION:A magneto-anisotropic magnetic film 17 is laminated on an upper magnetic core 12 so that the axis of difficult magnetization of the magnetic film is perpendicular to the front of a substrate 9 on which a magnetic recording medium is slided, thereby forming a first core 18. An anisotropic magnetic film is laminated on the first core 18 to form a second core 21, and an upper magnetic core 22 is formed by lamination of these cores. Consequently, the permeability in a high frequency area of the magnetic body having the magneto-anisotropy is max. in the direction of the axis of difficult magnetization and is min. in the direction of the axis of easy magnetization. Thus, the direction of the axis of difficult magnetization where the permeability in the high frequency area is max. and the propagation direction of a magnetic flux for recording and reproducing are parallel to improve the recording and reproducing efficiency. |
