发明名称 FRICTION WELDING METHOD FOR TABULAR BODY TO HOLLOW BODY
摘要 PURPOSE:To perform welding with high dimensional accuracy and low deterioration of material by projecting an annular pressure weld zone on a plane part of a tabular body and abutting a cylindrical part of a hollow body on this and welding these with pressure in a state with one side at least of these being rotated. CONSTITUTION:The rim 4 is inserted from the upper part of an attachment 3b of a rim positioning means 3 and sandwiched between a claw 5e abutting on the rim and a clamp claw 6a to lock the rim from rotating. A disk 7 is sandwiched and held between a clamp arm 9a and a peripheral disk clamp 10. Afterward, when a rotary main shaft 11 is rotated and lowered, the lower end of the pressure weld zone 7c of the disk 7 comes into contact with the upper end of a pressure weld zone 4c of the rim 4 in a state being rotated. Further, when the disk 7 is lowered, the pressure weld zones are molten by friction of the contact surface between the disk 7 and the rim 4 and the disk 7 is firmly welded to the rim 4 with pressure. By this method, the welding can be performed with the high dimensional accuracy.
