PURPOSE: To reduce the lateral width of an air conditioner and reduce an installation space thereof by mounting a suspension fitment on heat exchanger supporting side plates located at opposite sides of the heat exchanger disposed in a casing and coupling a suspension bolt with the suspension fitment. CONSTITUTION: An upper end of a suspension bolt 2 is coupled with a beam, etc., on the back of a ceiling 1, and a lower end of the same is suspended down in a room after it penetrates the ceiling 1. A heat exchanger 8 is installed in a casing 3, and a leg 15B of a suspension fitment 15 is clamped to heat exchanger supporting side plates 20 on opposite sides of the heat exchanger 8 with a nut 16. The lower end of the suspension bolt 2 penetrates an overhang part 15A of the suspension fitment 15 and an upper surface panel 3C of the casing 3 and is inserted into the casing 3, and the suspension bolt 2 is coupled with the suspension fitment 15 by bringing the upper surface of the nut 17 threaded in the suspending bolt 2 into close contact with the lower surface of the overhang part 15A of the suspension fitment 15. |
