PURPOSE: To restore a floppy disk medium by an optional format form by both floppy disk medium units and file units. CONSTITUTION: A floppy disk medium read processing part 10 reads volume images from a floppy disk device 1, a volume image file image conversion processing part 11 converts the volume images to file images and a backup device write processing part 12 and a management information write processing part 18 writes the file images and management information in the volume images to a backup device 3. A management information read processing part 21 and a backup device read processing part 15 reads the management information and the file images from the backup device 3, the conversion processing part 11 converts the file images to the volume images and a floppy disk medium write processing part 14 writes the volume images to the floppy disk device 1. |
