PURPOSE:To make the fabrication of a tipped saw easy and to prevent the cracking of a tip by widening a cutting edge part to a slope to connect a top of the cutting edge part with an outside edge of its bottom instead of a notched step to fix the tip to the cutting edge part, and providing a tip fixing groove corresponding to a tip fixing portion on the side of a tip fixing edge. CONSTITUTION:A tipped saw A is widened in a cutting edge part 2 to a slope to connect a top edge 7 of the cutting edge part with an outside edge 8 of its bottom to form a fixing part for a tip 3. On the other hand, the tip 3 is provided with a fixing groove 11 corresponding to the fixing part on the side of a fixing edge, and the fixing groove is formed into a sloping groove to make it correspond to the fixing part. In fixing the tip 3, the fixing part is inserted into the fixing groove 11 to braze the tip 3 on the cutting edge part 2 with the fixing part sandwiched in the fixing groove 11 of the tip 3. Thus the fabrication of a tipped saw becomes simple, and two surfaces to be brazed can be reduced into one surface, resulting in internal stress occurring in only one direction in the tip 3 at its cooling. The occurrence of a crack in the tip 3 can thereby be reduced. |
