PURPOSE:To prevent the insufficient activation of a central positive plate by making formation current flowing to each plate uniform when three or more electrodes having the same polarity are stacked, then formation is conducted. CONSTITUTION:Six pieces X1-X6 of positive plates 1 and six pieces Y1-Y6 of negative plates 2 are alternately stacked as a unit, then formation is conducted. The lug 3 of the central plate is connected to the lug 3 of the outermost plate in an adjacent bath, the lug 3 of the second plate from the outside of each unit is connected each other, and the lug 3 of the outermost plate is connected to the lug 3 of the central plate in the adjacent bath. The resistance in each circuit is almost the same, and formation current flowing to each piece of the plates 1, 2 is made uniform. By this connection, formation is easily conducted even in the central plates. |
